Re: The Law Council
I plan to prevent the repayment of pesticides and cattle, and if you don't want people who work for your economy to be healthy instead of mutilated or dying and most certainly shorter lived, you will vote to repeal. If you want more, longer-living, more productive people, you will vote against the repealment. coal tax so far 3-0 in favor

The region of Arnor is highly dependent on pesticides to prevent locust swarms from wreaking havoc on crops. Already food production is decreased by 30% and the regional government is requesting food shipments from Gondor. This act must be repealed immediately to prevent a famine.

Arnor is nearly in a state of famine, they're dependent on pesticides to fight off locust swarms and other varmint that devour crops, and the pesticides used by Arnorian farmers have been shown to have no negative effect on health.Ashla wrote:I plan to prevent the repayment of pesticides and cattle, and if you don't want people who work for your economy to be healthy instead of mutilated or dying and most certainly shorter lived, you will vote to repeal. We plan to vote for the repeal of the ban on pesticides. Not all pesticides are bad and they can be quite beneficial in stopping pests that harm crops.RK of Gondor and Arnor wrote:Arnor is nearly in a state of famine, they're dependent on pesticides to fight off locust swarms and other varmint that devour crops, and the pesticides used by Arnorian farmers have been shown to have no negative effect on health.Ashla wrote:I plan to prevent the repayment of pesticides and cattle, and if you don't want people who work for your economy to be healthy instead of mutilated or dying and most certainly shorter lived, you will vote to repeal. We will not change our position on this issue, I also plan to send food from barisea to assist the famine
Re: The Law Council
The United American South has also decided to oppose the war against Arendelle und Wesselton und Sud-Inseln due to the common ideals of social liberalism that Queen Ashla and Phoenix Empress Helga share. Ashla and Helga would probably be friends if they got to know each other. The Kingdom of United Countries has no business fighting their socially liberal sisters.RK of Gondor and Arnor wrote:The people of the RKGA are not warmongers, far from it. Type of Bill: Choose Below:
A) Tax B) Criminal Law C) Requirement(Such as health codes) D) Other
Name of Bill: Funding Private Medical Practices Act
Description: This bill prohibits the federal government of the Kingdom of United Countries from funding private medical practices.
Date of Proposal 1-20-2017
I have added this bill to the queue for debate by the Law Council because it highlights an important issue. The issue is whether public funds should go to abortion providers or organizations that promote abortion. Senator Mark Iger is opposed to using public funds for this purpose. He argues that the government has no business promoting abortion. The government should at least stay neutral on the subject if they are not going to ban it. It is a waste of the taxpayers' money for it to go towards controversial programs. The government should steer away from as much controversy as possible.

Re: The Law Council
I will only allow this to pass only if another thing is passed in conjunction with it.
The government cannot fund not only abortion but any medical practice. no one practice will be singled out.

Re: The Law Council
Senator Iger is okay with this compromise. He wants to decrease the size of the government anyway. He also wants to carefully manage public money. He will edit the bill to ban public funding for medical practices.Ashla wrote:I will only allow this to pass only if another thing is passed in conjunction with it.

Re: The Law Council
Doing this would cripple the RKGA's healthcare infrastructure, healthcare is provided for free in our country by the National Health Service, and cancelling the program would greatly decrease the average lifespan for at least several years.Joseph1 wrote:Senator Iger is okay with this compromise. Re: The Law Council
Senator Iger can just drop the bill altogether and focus on other important issues. It is unlikely to pass no matter how it is written.RK of Gondor and Arnor wrote:Doing this would cripple the RKGA's healthcare infrastructure, healthcare is provided for free in our country by the National Health Service, and cancelling the program would greatly decrease the average lifespan for at least several years.Joseph1 wrote:Senator Iger is okay with this compromise.
