Debates that occurred during the creation of this Constitution
Line:Article I, Section 2, Stanza III, Line 1
Date of Debate: December 17th, 2016
Persons Involved In Debate: Ashla Frostburough, Jospeh
Positions: Ashla wrote into the constitution that if, in the Law Council, two thirds or more persons are belonging to one political group, then no more of that group may be elected, so that their numbers do not exceed 2/3rds, and that the minority will get two votes in such a situation.
Joseph stated that if the minority gets twice the vote, it is over-represented, and the majority group not being able to have any more of their members elected to the Council limits their ability to represent their relative countries views correctly.
End Result: The clause in Article I, Section 2, Stanza III, Line 1 is unchanged, and views on the issue are aligned in favour of the clause after the dissenting was given a full reasoning in favour of the clause.
